What Wyoming courts have awarded.

Real Wyoming decisions and verdicts, each linked to the court record or official report.

  • Wyoming Supreme Court · 2020
Summary judgment for the fairgrounds affirmed

On December 17, 2015, Yolanda Varela went to a Santa’s Helpers event at the Rendezvous Center carrying her infant grandson. Passing through a held open door, she tripped over a brick or block between the doors, fell to her knees and fractured her left foot, which later needed two surgeries. The court held her claim was outside the immunity waiver.

  • Wyoming Supreme Court · 2015
Summary judgment for the school affirmed

In November 2010 a Big Piney High School teacher demonstrated centripetal force in the gym with a wheeled cart on a 20 foot rope while students took turns riding.
